Aram Mirzoyan graduated from the Russian-Armenian University, Department of Political Science in 2004. In 2007 he received a PhD in History at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. During 2007-2013 he was the Scientific Secretary of AGMI.
Since October 2013 he has been working at the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (IIAP NAS RA) as a senior researcher in the Center for Scientific Information Analysis and Monitoring, where he has been Deputy-Head since December 2018. As a member of the ASNET-AM - National Research and Education Network of Armenia team he is responsible for the new direction - digitisation. He has participated in several local and international projects.
