Edward Pogossian

Prof. Edward Pogossian has been the Head of the Laboratory of Cognitive Algorithms and Models at the Institute of Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia since 1973. He obtained his PhD in 1970 in Mathematical Cybernetics at the Computing Center of the Academy of Sciences, Moscow. Prof. Pogossian’s research direction is Cognitive Algorithms and Models. He has been teaching at the State Engineering University of Armenia, the American University of Armenia, and others.  He is a member of NAS RA as well as many other academic communities. He has authored more than 150 publications, including a monograph. He has participated in many international conferences and projects.
